Dear visitors, we kindly ask you not to take peacock feathers

Brijuni National Park is home to many animal species, including peafowl – a symbol of the beauty and elegance of our archipelago.

While peacock feathers may seem like a lovely souvenir, collecting them is not allowed. The feathers are part of the natural life cycle of these birds, and their removal disrupts the authenticity of the environment and may disturb the peafowl themselves.

Please note that it is strictly forbidden to remove any natural items from the National Park, including feathers, plants, stones, or other natural elements. Everything within the Park is part of a protected ecosystem that we strive to preserve in its original integrity.

Our mission is to protect nature – just as it is – for all present and future visitors.

Thank you for respecting the Park's rules and helping us preserve the unique beauty of Brijuni.
