SUSTAINABLE MANAGEMENT OF BRIJUNI NATIONAL PARK

Brijuni National Park is dedicated to the continuous improvement of sustainable tourism and
the development of a responsible and sustainable tourist destination. Through the application
of a participatory approach, Brijuni National Park actively involves stakeholders in order to
jointly contribute to the development and long-term sustainability of the Park area.

COMPLAINT SUBMISSION PROCEDURE

Complaints can be submitted in writing to the institution’s email address listed above.
A submission received via electronic mail will be considered a written complaint if it includes
the signature of the sender. Received complaints are reviewed by persons responsible for implementing and documenting
the sustainable management system of Brijuni National Park.
Based on the results of the verification process, a complaint may be assessed as:

  • Founded – all essential elements of the complaint are confirmed by the collected evidence,
  • Partially founded – part of the claims is confirmed, while part is unfounded or could not be verified,
  • Unfounded – the lack of grounds for all claims in the complaint is reliably confirmed and proven,
  • Unconfirmed – it was not possible to gather information to verify the claims of the complaint.

The persons responsible for implementing and reporting on sustainable management will
inform the complainant of the findings and measures taken within 30 days from the date of
receipt of the complaint.
